THIS WEEK: 

Monday: Menno LDE: This event will be held on Monday, November 23rd and Tuesday, November 24th in the evenings. Anyone participating in an LDE this would be great practice for districts or state depending on when you compete for districts.; AAU Wrestling sign ups on Monday, November 23, 2020, from 6:00 to 7:30pm in the mezzanine.; MS GBBall @Parkston 4pm; GBBall season begins

Tuesday: There will be a Student Council meeting at 7:50am on Tuesday, November 24 in Mrs. Fryda’s room; Oral Interp Night 6:30pm @Aux Gym

Wednesday: FFA officers working lunch; Early Dismissal 1:30pm…Regular schedule thru 6th period and eliminate 7th & 8th periods.

Thursday: NO SCHOOL---Happy Thanksgiving

Friday: NO SCHOOL

  • "Today, there will be a lunch meeting in the FACS classroom for current senior NHS members. New members, please get your agreements and RSVPs to Miss Fritz by the end of the day tomorrow."
  • Congratulations to Colin Kruse on place 2nd in the conference for trapshooting. His average for the season was 23.3 out of 25.  Congratulations to the Scotland Trap Team as they finished 2nd in the fall season conference.
  • These people have books that are due in the library: Austen Soukup, Kailin Odens, Logan Sayler, Brandon Souhrada,  Jonathan Gratzfeld, Nick Harrington  
  • The District LDE Contest for Job Interview and Ag Communications will be held on Monday, November 30th starting at 4pm.
  • Chapter FFA Meeting: The next FFA meeting will be on Wednesday, December 2nd at 7:15am.
  • Fruit Delivery: All fruit, meat, and cheese will be delivered on Thursday, December 3rd.
  • Junior Herdsman: The Security State Bank Junior Herdsman Project selects two 7th or 8th graders to receive 5 bred heifers each. The recipients chosen get the use of the cattle for 5 years, then return the equal value of the cattle to the program. Deadline to apply is December 1st, 2020.
  • Pop Tabs: It is a competition to see who can collect the most pop tabs between October 5th, 2020 and March 1st, 2021. The winning group (either the elementary, middle school, or high school) will be announced after FFA Week. High schoolers please bring tabs to Ms. Kaufmann’s room. Middle schoolers please take the tabs to Mrs. Haase’s room. Elementary to Patty’s office.
