Scotland HS/MS News ..... Tuesday December 1, 2020

THIS WEEK: 

Tuesday: Trap team: Anyone who was a part of the trap team and would like to be a part of the spring league or anyone else interested in joining in grades 8-12 please report to the Ag room on Tuesday at 3:10pm for a short meeting. The meeting is about a truck raffle fundraiser which will take place of you having to pay for the season.; GOOD Luck to our MS GBB team as they host Freeman AC-Marion here at 4pm; The Elementary Christmas Concert 7:30pm that will be livestreamed also.

Wednesday: FFA meeting at 7:15am in the Ag room; NCRC test with the seniors; The NHS induction ceremony at 2pm in the main gym. Grades 8-12 will attend, please have your classes assembled by this time. 6th and 7th may attend but are not required. I would also ask that we keep the middle section of bleachers closest to the "stage" open for inductees' families to sit in front. The ceremony typically takes about 20 minutes and we should be back to class around the start of 8th period. Inductees will likely not return to class, as we have a small reception for them after with their families. 

Thursday: FFA fruit sales delivery; MS GBB at Bon Homme 4pm

Friday: SHS Band Christmas Concert and Silent Auction at 7:30pm that will be livestreamed also.

Saturday: Dell Rapids WR tournament at 10am; MS GBB tournament at Irene

Students in grades 6-11, make sure to turn in your mascot entries to Mrs. Fryda by 3:00pm on Friday.

 These people have books that are due in the library:  Jarrett Andretta, Hunter Clark, Braelyn Fischer, Jacob Schaeffer(2), Austen Soukup, Kim Kubal, Jack Hauck, Savana Vis, Jaden Plooster, Madeline Richmond, Jenna Vitek, Rylee Conrad, Jonathan Gratzfeld, Nicholas Harrington, Turner Nicholson(2), and Latisha Willett.

   Students in grades 6-11, make sure to turn in your mascot entries to Mrs. Fryda by 3:00pm on Friday.

• Pop Tabs: It is a competition to see who can collect the most pop tabs between October 5th, 2020 and March 1st, 2021. The winning group (either the elementary, middle school, or high school) will be announced after FFA Week. High schoolers please bring tabs to Ms. Kaufmann’s room. Middle schoolers please take the tabs to Mrs. Haase’s room. Elementary to Patty’s office.
