This Week: BBB State tournament @Aberdeen Thursday - Saturday
Monday: CDE @Howard postponed to Wednesday (will NOT be attending); Smarter Balance testing w/7th graders
Tuesday: Smarter Balance testing w/8th graders; MS Quiz Bowl w/Menno here 3:30pm; Golf meeting right after school in Mr. Fuks room.
Wednesday: District CDE @Bon Homme Happy St. Patrick’s Day
Thursday: Smarter Balance testing w/juniors;
Friday: NO SCHOOL; Drivers’ Ed 9am-Noon; Farm Safety Day will be in the auxiliary gym from 2-4pm
Saturday: 1st day of Spring
- The following people have books that are due in the library. Please take care of this today/Monday: Kenney Kubal, Tea Atkinson(2), Bret Stephenson and Adrienne Weidenbach.
- Now through March 18th, there is a competition with Menno to see who can donate the most for their local food pantry. Bring in your unused, unexpired nonperishable foods, toiletries, and supplies and drop them off at Miss Fritz's office. The school that donates the most in pounds will win a traveling trophy! CHS Farmers Alliance will also donate 16 cents per pound of donations to the Scotland Food Pantry.
- Farm Safety Day: The Farm Safety Day will be on March 19th at 2pm. If you are interested in being a group leader please sign up here for your group.
- 8th through 10th Grade FFA Girls: As part of her senior project, Alli is putting on a presentation for all 8th through 10th grade girls in FFA on Wednesday, March 17th at 7:45am. This will be in the ag room. Please bring your computers with you.
- CDEs Information: March 17th at Bon Homme for District 4 Contest Leave time: 8:45 am, Required items: masks, dress warm, money for lunch; March 29th at Tri-Valley hosted at EXPO center
- VFW Youth Programs deadlines approaching: ‘Get Excited About Red, White and Blue’==ages 6-12---deadline March 31st, Youth America Patriotic Art----March 31, 2021====grades 9-12, Illustrated America----March 31, 2021===Grades 1-8, Youth Groups Supporting Our Veterans-------April 1, 2021===Youth Groups

- The Hutchinson Conservation District is looking for summer employees to help with planting trees, laying fabric, and other odd jobs in Hutchinson County. Must be 16 years of age or older. Contact hutchcd@gwtc.net for more information.
