Monday: FFA State Convention; School Board meeting 7pm in the community room
Tuesday: FFA State Convention; HS & MS Track at Centerville will leave at 11am; JV/MS Golf at Gregory/Burke all day
Wednesday: Spring Pictures---Individual and class pictures!!
Thursday: HS/MS TR at Menno all day…leave at 8:30am; HS Golf at Yankton; Senior Projects presentations evening
Friday: Senior Projects presentations noon to finish
Saturday: PROM 4 p.m. Good Sam Grand March by the dining windows-when finished head to the gym for prom pictures (Julie Walloch, Country N More)
- 5:30p.m. Meal by Doug’s Food Center, Springfield, SD
Brisket, Cheesy Potatoes, Green Beans, Fruit
Cupcakes by Junior moms
- 7:00p.m. GRAND MARCH – public – MASKS ARE NOT REQUIRRED BUT RECOMMENDED
- 8-10:30p.m. Dance – Touch Of Class DJ, Viborg, SD
- 10:30p.m. Change clothes/gather things to leave for Air Madness, Harrisburg,SD
- 11p.m. After Prom begins-Depart for Harrisburg
- 12:30-3:30a.m. After Prom
- 3:30a.m. depart for Scotland
- Spring Pictures are Wednesday and everyone will be taking group class pictures!!
- Thank you to the students and staff working at the middle school track meet—great job!
- Spring Individual pictures will be taken Wednesday April 14th. Forms are available w/Mrs. Suurmeier or Sandy.
- It is time to take out petitions for the 2021-2022 Student Council offices. Petitions for President and Vice President can be taken out by any junior. Petitions for Secretary and Treasurer can be taken out by any student in grades 9-11. Petitions may only be signed by students in grades 8-11 and each student can only sign one petition for each office. Petitions must be signed by 14 students. Petitions can be picked up from Mrs. Fryda and petitions are due to Mrs. Fryda by 3:00pm on Friday, April 23. Elections for officers will be held during first period on Thursday, April 29, during class meetings.
- Donations NEEDED---The Student Council is hosting a blood drive on Wednesday, April 21 form 12:30pm to 5:30pm in the Community Room. To donate, students must be at least 16 years of age and weigh at least 120 pounds. If you are 16 or 17 and this is your first time donating, please see Mrs. Fryda for a parent permission form. To register, please logon to www.lifeservebloodcenter.org or contact Mrs. Fryda. A signup sheet will also be posted outside of Mrs. Huber’s office. The Student Council thanks you for giving the gift of life.
- Chapter Meeting: The next FFA chapter meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 20th at 7:15am.
- The Hutchinson Conservation District is looking for summer employees to help with planting trees, laying fabric, and other odd jobs in Hutchinson County. Must be 16 years of age or older. Contact hutchcd@gwtc.net for more information.
