Highlander Happenings … Tu.Sept.28.2021

• The words Thank You cannot come close to how overwhelmed I am at the honor that the dear students of SHS gave to me last night.  My heart is over flowing with gratitude for each and every one of you.  I am so thankful to be a part of the great family here at Scotland Schools.  Proud to be a Highlander!!!! • All juniors and seniors taking the ACT at school on October 5th need to schedule a pre-test session with Miss Fritz. Please check your emails and respond.
• Homecoming Info: Parade Theme:  Decades.  Dress Up Days: 9/28:  Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum Day (twin), 9/29:  Walking Year Book Day (wear a white t-shirt and have it signed), 9/30:  Orange & Black Day, 10/1:  Black & Gold Day.
• National FFA Convention: Individuals who were emailed… Get your checks to Ms. Kaufmann ASAP!!
• Heart Screenings have been rescheduled for November 22. Forms are available in Sandy’s office and appointments should be made with her. The forms MUST be filled out and with the student at the time of the appointment. The cost is $89 for your first student and $44.50 for any additional students in your family. We MUST have at least 10 participants for this screening to happen. If you have not signed-up and still want to, please see Sandy!! 
• AET Work Time/SAEs: Tu.Oct.5 beginning at 7am until school begins.  All FFA members have an SAE project and are required to keep basic records using AET. If you need help updating your records, setting up a project, or needing a place to work on it, work times are as follows: Tuesday, October 5th at 7am until school starts; and Tuesday, October 12th after school until 4:30pm.    Please bring your laptop.

AFTER PROM Homecoming Tailgate...Friday night, October 1 starting at 5:00pm in the concession stand at the football field.

1 Sandwich Meal (1 pulled pork sandwich, coleslaw, chips, bar and water) $8

2 Sandwich Meal (2 pulled pork sandwiches, coleslaw, chips, bar and water) $10

They will also be hosting a football toss and bean bag toss on the south side of the bleachers for a chance to win prizes. Cost is $1 per toss.
