Highlander Happenings … Jan.20.2022

Any student in MS or HS that is interested in spring Quiz Bowl please see Mr. McGregor THIS WEEK to take the Challenge Questions to determine teams.  HS is 50 questions and MS is 30 questions.  You may do the questions during your study hall or after school. 

FFA Member Lock-In: January 28 and 29 at SHS. All FFA members are welcome to attend as there will be food, games/activities, and fun for all. Please sign up in the ag room to ensure there will be plenty of food for everyone.

Orders for the state wrestling tournament (February 24, 25, 67) at the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls can be made with Jim Kocer by Thursday, January 20, at noon.  Adult reserved seats for all three days would be $50.00 and for advanced student seating the cost is $28.00.  Tickets can also be purchased at the door (adults-$14.00 per session and students-$8.00 per session).

STUDENTS: Girls State will be held May 30 – June 4 on the USD Campus (Vermillion). Boys State will be held on the NSU Campus (Aberdeen) May 30 – June 3.
