Highlander Happenings … Feb.28.2022

Congratulations to Britney Rueb who won the state wrestling championship at 113 pounds and to Turner Nicholson who placed seventh at 160 pounds.  Britney was 30-1 on the year and Turner finished at 36-13. Bon Homme/Scotland/Avon finished in tenth place and in the state duals on Saturday they placed sixth.  Tyrus Bietz also wrestled in the duals.

Driver education class begins TODAY, at 3:30 in Mr. Hunhoff’s room.

Any students grades 9-12, there will be a short Track meeting Tuesday, March 1^st after school in the Lunch Room.  We will have sign-up and some information to pass along.

STUDENTS: Girls State will be held May 30 – June 4 on the USD Campus (Vermillion). Boys State will be held on the NSU Campus (Aberdeen) May 30 – June 3.
