High School and Middle School track athletes, Practice for both will start March 13 (3:30-4:50pm). Please have your paperwork turned in beforehand, if not sure check with Mr. Kocer. Also have your Practice gear (shoes, sweats, hoodies, etc.) ready, Mother Nature will be unpredictable this season!!

SEA (Scotland Education Association) Scholarship, Interested applicants should stop by Mrs. Haase’s room to pick up an application. This $250 scholarship will be given to a senior student interested in going into the education field. A minimum 3.0 GPA is required. The applicant needs to write an essay of 400-500 words including why he/she chose education as his/her career path and what part of education (teaching area) interests him/her. Qualified applicants will also include any educational experience that they have been involved in (examples: mentoring, tutoring, etc.). Deadline is Friday, April 14th.

Happy Valentine's Day!!!
Congratulations to Campbell, Jacob, Carson, and Paisley for participating in the Southeast Regional Spelling Bee in Vermillion, SD, on February 11. Campbell placed 3rd in the oral spelling bee and will compete in the Scripps Spelling Bee (state competition) on March 18. Good luck to her! Jacob placed 3rd in the written spelling bee. Congratulations! Overall, these four spellers represented Scotland Middle School very well!!
Congratulations to Britney…She finished the regular season with a 36-2 record.
