Wed.Mar.24… ELEM Fundraiser Puffins Delivered to school… Parent pick-up from 3-7pm; Band Large Group Contests…

Th.Mar.25… Elem will be treated to the Play Matinee of “Night at the Wax Museum”. Mrs. Haase would like elementary students seated and ready at 1:15pm. We will walk to the City Hall and everyone should be out the door no later than 1pm (that means that Upper Recess will have to be shortened or I can be ready early and take them out early ~Patty… Teachers let me know). … 7:30pm Public Performance at City Hall…

Wednesday: Driver education this week on Wednesday (3:10-5:10);

Large Group Band competition HERE---in house

Thursday: Elementary School Play at 1-1:30pm; Evening performance of the Play 7:30pm

Friday: Smarter Balance testing w/8th graders

Saturday: Drivers’ Ed --9:00-12:00

Sunday: School Play practice at 10:30am at City Hall; School Play at 2pm

  • FFA Officer applications available.  These applications are due back on April 7th.  CDEs Information: March 29th at Tri-Valley hosted at EXPO center—make up slips due this Thursday; State FFA Convention: Congratulations to the teams who qualified for State FFA! Convention will be held on April 11-13th. A preliminary leave time on April 11th is at 10:15am. Scotland and Bon Homme FFA Chapters will be sharing a charter bus. More details will be sent home with students by the end of the week, including any forms that need to be signed.
  • The Hutchinson Conservation District is looking for summer employees to help with planting trees, laying fabric, and other odd jobs in Hutchinson County. Must be 16 years of age or older. Contact hutchcd@gwtc.net for more information.

  • FUN Event this Sunday night in Menno at the HS gym….Menno’s FCA group is hosting an evening of fellowship and food for students, parents and anyone interested.  Ken Winterstein is spearheading this and there will be supper catered by Famous Dave’s (free).   Ken needs an approximate number of those interested in attending.  Sign- up sheet is  on the desk by the lunch room.

Tuesday: Smarter Balance testing w/8th graders; MS Quiz Bowl w/Menno here 3:30pm; Golf meeting right after school in Mr. Fuks room.
