Monday: Boys going out for Basketball this season Grades 8-12, there will be a meeting in Coach Fuks’ room after school. If you cannot be present, talk to Coach Fuks.; MS GBBall @Wagner 4pm
Tuesday: MS GBBall w/Avon here 4pm; For those in grades 6-12 who plan on going out for wrestling, there will be a short meeting in the copier room upstairs on Tuesday right after school.
Wednesday: Veterans Day Program 9am
Thursday: State FBall; FFA fruit sales due
Friday: State FBall

- "Seniors - there are just a couple more days to take advantage of Free College App Week. Be sure to get your applications in and see Miss Fritz if you need help or have questions."
- The following people need to take care of their books in the library today/Fri.: AYLA ROKUSEK, RYLEE CONRAD and NICHOLAS HARRINGTON.
- The local Voice of Democracy contest was held at the VFW in Scotland on Wednesday, November 4th.
There were thirty-four essays and three were selected to represent Scotland VFW at the District 7 Contest in Wagner later in November. Winners were: Addison Haase 11th grade, Tyrus Bietz 10th grade and Madelyn Kludt 10th grade (Menno)
- The Patriotic Pen contest: Eighty-nine essays were judged and six winners will move on to the District 7 contest in Wagner later in November. Local winners were: Kristi Davis 8th grade, Jacob Schaeffer 6th grade, Taylor Freier, 8th grade, Ashlyn Burkett-7th grade, Lexie McNinch 7th grade, Trent Guthmiller 8th grade. Honorable Mention: Kailin Odens 7th grade, Ellyana Ulmer 8th grade, Rachael Rowe 6th grade, and Noah Pietz 7th grade
- District LDEs and District Officer Apps: The District LDE Contest will be held on Monday, November 16th. If you are interested in applying for a District Officer position that night, please let Ms. Kaufmann know you provide you with the application.
- FFA Meeting: The next FFA meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 18th at 7:15am.
- Junior Herdsman: The Security State Bank Junior Herdsman Project selects two 7th or 8th graders to receive 5 bred heifers each. The recipients chosen get the use of the cattle for 5 years, then return the equal value of the cattle to the program. Deadline to apply is December 1st, 2020.
- Pop Tabs: It is a competition to see who can collect the most pop tabs between October 5th, 2020 and March 1st, 2021. The winning group (either the elementary, middle school, or high school) will be announced after FFA Week. High schoolers please bring tabs to Ms. Kaufmann’s room. Middle schoolers please take the tabs to Mrs. Haase’s room. Elementary to Patty’s office.
